Invisalign clear braces function like retainers or sports mouth guards to straighten your teeth over a period of time, typically anywhere from 3 months up to a year depending on how crooked or misaligned your teeth are..
They fit over your teeth easily and are removable for your convenience. They are made of a thermoplastic material, which is clear and smooth and will not rub against your lips or gums.
These aligners are barely noticeable, and wearing them is a breeze. If you choose these clear aligners, you’ll be pleased with how effectively, and how quickly, they straighten teeth.
How Invisalign ® Works
We recommend that you wear your Invisalign clear braces for 20 to 22 hours per day. You will be able to take them out for eating, brushing, flossing, and cleaning the Invisalign braces.
Every few weeks, you will visit our dentist’s office in Molalla, so that our dentist and dental team can check up on your progress. He will give you new sets of aligners to change out every 1-2 weeks. This is so that as your teeth straighten, your aligners will keep up with your improving smile.
Each set of aligners is custom-made just for you so that you can achieve the most beautiful smile possible. As you move through the stages, your teeth will get straighter and straighter. Invisalign clear braces can usually straighten teeth within 9 to 18 months, so you won’t have to wait long to see the smile of your dreams.
